Oh Yeah.

This is pretty much how the magic happens. I do up a whole stinkin bunch of embroidered pieces, I can't even tell you how many are here right now... 15+. Then I pair each with a print for the back of the bag, then stand and stare at the Great Wall of Fabric and pull out pieces that would "go". Then each stack will grow even more when I sift through my scrap drawers.

The all important aerial view :) About half will be using knitted bits... those don't stack up quite as nicely as the embroidered ones.

I know what I'm doing this weekend!

I can't tell you how excited I was when these came in the mail last week! Seriously the coolest buttons ever :)
Many thanks to Maggie over at HappySilence!

Bad but I don't care.

I've been on a bit of a buying spree lately. Can't help it, there's so much goodness on Etsy :)
Today I mailed AmyLynn over at KittyCrossBones this stack of pages from an Edgar Allen Poe book, she's going to turn them into buttons for me! How totally awesome.

Then I bought some buttons from HappySilence that I've been eyeing for quite some time... I'll for sure take a pic when they get in :)
Maggie's style will be so perfect for a bunch of bags I've been working on.

And this bunch of yummy smelling goodies came in the mail this morning

I traded the proprietress of CherryBlossomCo this fun stuff for a couple monkeys! I almost never do trades but I couldn't help it, she has an awesome line of bath & body stuffs. Love love love the Lemongrass! How cute is her packaging? Way cute, that's right.

I don't binge eat, I binge shop.
I *need* to be binge monkey-making!

Sneak Peek :)

I'll be updating the shop all week... didn't want to put everything up on the same day.

This sweet little girl will make her way in sometime :)

1 Year Anniversary Super Sale

Yay! I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. Seriously, I had to look at the calendar to make sure it was 2007 then I had to look again to make sure this was 2008.

So much has happened in a year! This time last year my husband was in the Air Force, we were living on a base in Texas. I was homeschooling and our youngest took marathon naps (4+ hours!).

Now we're out of the military (hubs still does part time guard), living in Oklahoma. The two oldest are in public school, my baby will start preschool. He still takes marathon naps ;)

I decided to offer up a 20% discount on any ONE thing in the shop. Since I have never had a sale before and probably won't till this time next year I figured that'd work :)

I'm going to Yay! again, I feel like this is my birthday! What a dork!
